DOB:8/29/90 The protagonist of The Illusion of Sebara. He's got a strong distaste for unfairness and is unafraid to spring into action when he sees someone in need. But even though he denies any "soft spots" in his personality, he's easier to influence than he thinks, especially when distraught. Also, sometimes, his view of "justice" can get a little narrow, maybe even self-centered, but regardless, he cares for his friends. |
DOB:7/18/86 The deuteragonist of The Illusion of Sebara. Warm and doting, she's extremely loyal to her loved ones and will do anything asked by them, often to her own detriment. She finds it difficult to be at the center of her own life, so she opts to put someone else there instead, adopting the status of a martyr or a servant rather than a person. Rarely, she can find the conviction to stand up for herself. |
DOB:2/21/94 A fire imp. Her bright and fiery personality can be a bit much at times, especially when there's action around: she always wants to be a part of it, even when that puts her safety at risk! But athough she's a bit shortsighted at times and makes rash decisions, she isn't completely unaware of this, and, at times, can appreciate the pleasure of a quieter life. |
DOB:? A rock golem. He comes off as selfless due to his determination to protect Mono, but he is rather anti-social, and despite putting himself in diplomatic positions, finds more comfort in isolation. He sometimes attempts to open up to others, though, and appreciates the benefits of having friends, using his skeptical attitude to keep them safe. |

YOB:1961 The queen and ruler of Sebara. YOB:1959 The king of Sebara and Mary's husband. He has a more passive, mediating personality than his wife, and although he usually refrains from directly questioning her methods, he prefers nonviolent approaches above all, and maintains a sense of dignity, finding value in "being the bigger person" in the face of his opponents. |
YOB:1992 The son of Mary and Lorcan Henden. Under pressure from Mary, he works hard and follows orders diligently, hoping to one day become the ruler she expects him to become. |

YOB:1965/? Misty Henden, the sister of Mary Henden, saw unfairness in Mary's position as queen and made an agreement with Ghoulia, a ghost: in exchange for control over Misty's body, Ghoulia would help her secure power. However, their agreement didn't go exactly how Misty expected... |
YOB:? Ghoulia's son and a poltergeist. When he laid eyes on Skyler, he realized he had found himself the perfect vessel to inhabit. Even though Miriam, his fiancée, loves him dearly, he isn't particularly interested in her or anyone else. |
YOB:1989 The daughter of Mary Henden. Similar to her aunt, she grew resentful of her mother after being denied the position of ruler. She can be fiesty and spiteful at times, but she can also be loving, particularly towards her aunt, whom she refers to exclusively as "Her Majesty". |
YOB:1987 The older brother of Triza. While they were children, he protected her from the adults in their village who believed she was cursed or possessed. He was her best and only friend, loving her unconditionally, until Polter began to fancy him as a vessel and brought him into the Morning Star. During the years he spent seperated from Triza, Skyler was pushed to resent her and devote himself to Misty and her mission instead, a change he made quickly. |

Before Ghoulia overtook Misty's body, she and Misty were lovers, but she continues to serve Misty with full devotion, even though she recognizes that Misty's personality has changed drastically. After Skyler was taken by Polter, she decided to act as a mentor to Triza since no one knew what else to do with her but recruit her into the Morning Star. |
YOB:1970 A scientist working for the Morning Star. Through his experiments, he joins the human and Sebarian worlds together, infusing humans with mana, building mana-infused tools and weapons that humans can use, and even promoting travel between Earth and Sebara. Under mysterious circumstances, he was born in Sebara despite being human and suffered a great deal of loneliness, which he attempted to assauge by blackmailing Illya into being his assistant and sexually abusing her. |
YOB:1959 The father of Reyes. After a rough divorce with Veronica, Reyes' mother, he found himself lost and trapped by his memory of her, so he was easily talked into joining the Morning Star by Luset. Despite the guilt living a double life caused him, he followed his orders dutifully, but once he was ordered to make an attempt on Reyes' and Veronica's lives, he began to struggle, and his guilt skyrocketed. |
YOB:1988 Brought up in a village that intepreted her sometimes odd behaviors as evidence of demonic possession, she was shunned from her community with only her older brother to care for her, but when he was brought to the Morning Star by Polter, she was taken with him. She was told by her superiors that, if she followed orders and behaved, she would get the chance to see him again, but she eventually learned that they lied to her and betrayed the Morning Star in favor of Mary. |

YOB:1939 Tundra's closest friend. He works as a ferryman in Vendor, but sometimes, he gives Tundra discounts and free rides. He has a calm but sometimes impatient demeanor. He's lived in Vendor his entire life, so he knows a lot about the region. |
YOB:1966 The mother of Reyes. She and Victor divorced when Reyes was young, so Reyes spent very little time with her growing up. She acted cold towards him, scolding and criticizing him often, but Reyes understood that, despite this, she still cared for him, and appreciated her unwavwering attention and punctuality. She was an excellent cook while she was alive. |

Once she brought her business over to Earth, though, she began to attract unwanted attention. She's creative and talkative, but she also gets burnt out easily and can spend days at a time in isolation. |
YOB:1982 The younger Albericht brother. He may be a responsible goody two-shoes, following rules and doing as he's told, but that very nature makes him a bit of a pushover, too. However, when it comes to keeping his older brother, Kidito, in line, he can sometimes be uncharacteristically strict. In general, he plays the role of a peacemaker and tries to alleviate tension in others. He is usually referred to as "Kazu". |

Once she discovers traffic between Earth and Sebara, she devotes herself to her dream of one day being able to visit Sebara. |
| Andy | Tamara | Jamie |
|---|---|---|
YOB:1966 The adoptive father of Tamara. Initially, he appears only a bit strange to Reyes, but the latter soon discovers that he rules his household with an iron fist: physical abuse as punishment is a common occurence, and thanks to him, immense pressure is placed on Tamara to maintain stellar grades and behavior despite her poor home life. He is quick to anger and reacts massively to even small mistakes, causing Tamara to fear him and scold Reyes for poking fun at his laziness. |
YOB:1986 Reyes' friend at school. She comes off as calm, mature and laid-back, but her every action is calculated, and she struggles to relax in any context. She is uncomfortable with her closeness to Reyes because she sees the state of her life as fickle and would prefer it if he just forgot about her and her troubles. |
YOB:1994 The younger brother of Tamara. They are not related by blood, but she cares for him as if they were and worries about the prospect of their seperation. He enjoys teasing Tamara and finds hanging out with Reyes to be fun. However, he doesn't seem fully aware of the danger Andy brings into his life. |
